Overview

AMI Knowldege Discovery is our Enterprise Search solution and allows the user to find textual information (documents, e-mails, basic elements of data, etc.) from both internal and external sources without necessarily knowing its location in advance. Searching can be conducted either in free text or using Boolean commands and operators.

Find, Identify, Retrieve, Classify, Extract and Navigate are all functions delivered out-of-the box with AMI Knowldege Discovery which offers far greater user satisfaction and effectiveness by considerably limiting the "noise" and not returning useless information or, as is sometimes the case with other search technolgies, no information at all. Specifically developed for the demanding world of the Enterprise, AMI Knowldege Discovery offers a single point of access to all information on an Intranet or Portal, in turn, making their effective use and further development far more likely.

AMI Knowldege Discovery is built on an original and patented technology, see "Document Signature ", able to distinguish the "essential" from the "additional" in a body of text. The technology offers multiple advantages primarily driven by the very high level of relevance of results and entirely automatic operation that does not require expensive or time consuming administration.

AMI Knowldege Discovery belongs to a new generation of intelligent search engines able to take into account the meaning of words and expressions and is able to offer performance levels very significantly higher than those of first generation Boolean search engines. The software benefits from AMI's know-how in the development of algorithms specifically designed to tackle large volumes of data and is one of the very few search engines to fully exploit the new generation of 64-bit processors and architecture.
